A boat or watercraft is a great way to view the OC Air Show.  When doing so you must pay careful attention to your craft's location.  The waters under the aerobatic box where the performers fly under 1,000 feet in altitude will be closed by order of the US Coast Guard during the event.  The US Coast Guard will be policing these waters and anyone violating their perimeter can face significant fines.  In addition, watercraft cannot anchor within 1,800 feet of the beach on the North or South side of these waters.  The diagram below provides the GPS coordinates for the aerobatic box.  You can click on the diagram to download it in high resolution.
